My original Hook Strap design has come a long way since its development in late 2018. Having personally crafted over 25,000 of them over the past 5 years, I knew I was onto something. But I couldn't shake the feeling that it still had room to grow. Could it really get any better? The Chrono-Grip™ is my answer to this question.
Next Gen Hardware
Machined from Grade 5 Titanium, the Chrono-Grip's hardware is not only stronger, but highly corrosion resistant, nearly weightless, and warm to the touch, while maintaining an extremely low profile. The materials work hand-in-hand with its highly refined geometry, and ultimately serve to unlock the full potential of the Hook Strap system.
After 90+ design iterations, the twin "Grip Lock" slots have proven to be the prominent game changer for this system. As the webbing is pulled, the teeth increase their grip on the elastic. This makes any chance of slippage nearly impossible. And the patent is indeed pending!
Other advantages of the new hardware include the fully curved profile for a flush fit around the wrist, rounded edges, and improved hook geometry to allow for easier installation and removal. The custom wire form Slider Rings are made from the same Grade 5 Titanium as well!

Featuring my latest "PRO Series" Polyester Elastic Webbing, this reinforced, 1.8mm thick, plain weave of elastic is exceptionally durable, UV Resistant, Water Proof, Freeze Proof, Shock Proof, Overstretch Resistant, and ready for literally anything you're brave enough to endure.
Versatility Evolved
Because of those nifty new Grip Lock slots, gone will be the days of your Hook Strap being limited to micro-adjustments.
The Chrono-Grip™ allows sizing up to 1.00"+ past your wrist size for use with up to 4mm thick wetsuits, jacket sleeves, gloves, etc. It's ready for any occasion, any time.
The elastic is even trimmable if so desired! Just snip, burn, and squeeze.
Pass-Through Ready
Thanks to its revolutionary hardware design, the Chrono-Grip™ can be installed and removed from your watch without the use of any tools.
The Hook is completely removable, allowing for the single layer of elastic webbing to pass through even the tightest of lug spaces (much like any NATO strap).
Robust Simplicity
With only one 54-stitch bartack as its main construction point, one strip of heavy duty elastic webbing, and two solid pieces of hardware, it really doesn't get much simpler!
Better, faster, stronger! There are fewer modes of failure, more adjustment features, and twice as fast to construct here in the shop.
Smart Watch Friendly
The strap never covers the caseback of your watch or any fitness sensors.
Effortlessly slides onto most smartwatches, including Garmin, Apple Watches, Google Pixel Watches, and anything else that uses a bar in its lug spaces for strap mounting. (Adapters sold separately.)
And when you're done tracking your various activities, just toss it in the wash! Cool Wash, Tumble Dry Low 👍
Assembly is a Cinch!
Installation is now easier than ever. Just slide the strap through your watches lug space, pull the slack beneath the watch, pinch it through the slider, and hook it up!
And don't worry, the the original, defining, two-point, micro-adjustment functionality is here to stay!
Once on the wrist, it easily conceals beneath the cuff of a shirt, or adjusts to secure around the outside of your sleeve. Hey, no judgements, you do you!
