If you are interested in NFC technology, you most likely have an Android Smart Phone or tablet. In this case, I recommend the App developed by NXP; Very simple to use, totally free- it allows you to write a URL, simple text, or a V-Card contact on your NFC Tags, which will be readable by all NFC devices, with every Operating System. It can also provide information about an NFC Tag's Chip (type of Chip, UID).

If you are looking for an app to make your device do some task (i.e. enable/disable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, or launch some apps), we recommend:

If you need to encode a large quantity of NFC Tags, importing data from a CSV (Excel spreadsheet), you may be interested to:
