Chrono-Grip™ User Guide

Now that your ‘Grip is all assembled, let’s put it on!

Fitment Instructions

Step 1) Slide over hand. First, you’ll want to undo the hook to allow for more room to expand over your hand. As you’re doing so, be sure to hold on to the “Adjustment Loop” to maintain your sizing.

Step 2) Attach the hook. After sliding the assembly onto your wrist, bring the Hook around and secure it to the Adjustment Loop. While doing so, be sure to pull any slack around each spring bar/fixed bar area of your watch as the elastic tends to bunch up around them.

Step 3

Step 3) Check fitment. If you can easily slide your index finger beneath the strap, it will likely feel too loose. You want to tighten the strap to a point where your index finger is unable to pass all the way through with a casual amount of effort.

Step 4

Step 4) Un-Hooking. At this point, you may already have a strap that fits just fine! If that is not the case, simply undo the Hook by flaring out the Adjustment Loop with your index finger and rotating it out with your thumb. Now we can begin making size adjustments.

Step 5

Step 5) Minor adjustments. You can make minor adjustments using the Adjustment Loop. To tighten, extend the Adjustment Loop. You can do this by drawing excess elastic up from the 6 o’clock side of your wrist, or from the 12 o’clock side.

Step 6

Step 6) Major adjustments. You can make larger adjustments by using the Chrono-Grip’s strap slots. To tighten the strap, you’ll want to pull more elastic through the strap slots. To loosen the strap, you’ll want to reduce the amount of strap going through the strap slots.

PRO TIP: It is much easier to just use the TOP strap slot until you find your sizing sweet spot. Once this is established, you can then weave the elastic through the bottom slot as well to further lock in your sizing within the Chrono-Grip.

Step 7

Step 7) Done! After properly fitting your strap, all that’s left is to put it on and enjoy it. Wear it in good health! 🎉

Wear & Care: You might find yourself wearing your Chrono-Grip for longer durations than any previous bands you’ve worn. This is completely normal! However, this also means that it is probably going to acquire a lot more dirt/grime/sweat and all sorts of lovely things. So, be sure to wash it once in a while.

All of my Hook Straps can be thrown in your typical washing machine on Cold Wash settings, and then Tumble Dried on Low Heat. A mesh garment bag is recommended to keep it separate from your other items.

Spots and stains can be hand treated with products like OxiClean or other polyester cleaning options. 🧼
